Kerem is an associate in the Real Estate Law Group and Project Capital Real Estate Team at George Street Law.
He has started his career in 2009 at a law firm based in Turkey and was admitted to the Turkish Bar in 2010. He has later joined the London office of a UK based multinational law firm on secondment. He then completed the LL.M. program at the University of California, Berkeley. Upon completion of the program, Kerem took the New York Bar exam and thereafter returned to the same law firm in Turkey. He was later admitted to the New York Bar in 2014. Kerem moved to Canada in 2016 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2018. Before joining George Street Law, he worked as the legal counsel for a Toronto based international real estate franchisor and a Vancouver based financial services company.
At George Street Law he is mainly focused on real estate law and contracts. He has considerable experience in all aspects of business law, as well as the areas of regulatory law, mergers and acquisitions and franchise law.
Kerem is fluent in Turkish and German.
