About Alyson

As head of the Wills, Estates & Trusts group, Alyson provides legal advice and assistance to clients involving both simple estates as well as those involving complex assets and challenging family dynamics. 

A large portion of Alyson’s practice is dedicated to assisting and advising executors, trustees and attorneys appointed under a Power of Attorney with respect to their fiduciary obligations as well as the management and administration of estates and trusts.  Alyson also has extensive experience in assisting clients with the creation of Wills, Powers of Attorney for Property and Personal Care, estate administration, trusts (including alter ego trusts, disability trusts, environmental trusts, and employee benefit trusts), guardianship applications and passing of accounts.

Alyson is a graduate of the Western University, where she received her B.A. in Sociology as well as her Bachelor of Law (LLB).  Alyson has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the area of Estates & Trusts as this has been the focus of her practice since her call to the bar in 2004.
